Multivitamin with Fluoride

Multivitamin with fluoride combines standard pediatric vitamins (such as A, C, and D) with supplemental fluoride to help prevent dental caries in children who live in areas with inadequate fluoridated water. It is typically prescribed by pediatricians or dentists based on a child's age and the fluoride content of their local water supply. Because excessive fluoride intake during tooth development can cause dental fluorosis (cosmetic mottling of the teeth), dosing should follow current pediatric fluoride supplementation guidelines and account for all other sources of fluoride intake.
