Ketorolac

Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)

Ketorolac tromethamine is a prescription nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. It is most commonly prescribed after surgery or for other short-term painful conditions when non-opioid pain relief is appropriate, but stronger than typical over-the-counter NSAIDs may be needed. Ketorolac is designed for short-term use only. Due to its increased risk of serious side effects—especially gastrointestinal bleeding and kidney problems—treatment with ketorolac (including injectable and oral forms combined) should not exceed 5 total days in adults. Although the brand name Toradol has been discontinued in the United States, generic ketorolac remains widely available.

It is usually taken once daily as a tablet. Zestoretic is available by prescription only and should be used under a healthcare providers guidance.

Together, they relax blood vessels and remove excess salt and water from the body, thereby lowering blood pressure and reducing the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney problems. Hyzaar is available by prescription only and should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider.
